The first reset features the text "All of your progress disintegrates before your eyes", and later resets simply state the Star Tier the player performed a Supernova with (such as " Supernova Tier: 5"). Performing it also plays a unique fade-to-yellow animation. The first Supernova also unlocks constellation tiers 11 and 12. For example, performing 3 T1 Supernovae and 1 T2 Supernova would result in a total base generation rate of 13 per second, which is then increased by upgrades. Supernova also unlocks Solar Flares, a passively generated currency with a base capacity of 10,000, of which its total base generation rate is increased by 10 ^ (Star Tier - 1) per Supernova. This formula also means that Solar Shard gain is heavily reduced if the player's current star growth is more than 10 zeroes from the next Star Tier's growth requirement. If the current Star Tier is 0, the base Solar Shard gain is also 0. The base Solar Shard gain is based on current Star Tier and orders of magnitude of star growth: floor(5 ^ (Current Star Tier - 1)) × max(1, (10 + (floor(log10(Current Star Growth) - floor(log10(Next Star Tier Growth Requirement)))))) × 2. In turn, it awards Solar Shards, spendable on Solar Upgrades, which are listed below. It also keeps Automation Upgrades, Anti-Anti-Automation Upgrades and Star Chart automation upgrades due to the immediate effect of Supernova Tier 1. Performing a Supernova resets all previous game content, excluding Flowers, Flower Upgrades and highest level of each upgrade reached. It requires reaching a star growth of 500,000 from The Star, at which point the star becomes Tier 1 and the doorway to the Supernova area, and its reset, becomes available. Supernova is a Reset Layer in the Planetoid, implemented in version 0.6. Proceed with risk if you have such a device! Pages longer than 10 - 20kB may lag on lower-end devices. We are to inform you, Supernova is a very large page.
